PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR FAMILY NAME SIGN WHEN PICKING UP FROM CAR LINE
CAR LINE PARKING RULES
A reminder to all families of the parking rules at car line. Remember, when you are lined up on the road at pick up time you are only permitted to be stopped for 2 minutes. If the line is not moving, advice from NSW Police is that parents and carers should drive around the block until they are able to enter the school grounds.
Please also remember that student supervision at car line is until 3:45pm, so arriving around or after 3:30 will help to ease the congestion at this time. It is not essential that you are at car line before 3:20pm (school finish time).
Please also remember to leave neighbours driveways clear when waiting to pick your child up at the end of the day, especially if you are waiting behind the bus stop area.
EARLY PICK UP INFORMATION
Welcome back to Term 2. We hope with a further loosening of COVID restrictions we will be able to have lots of parents/carers at school events. Please consider all school events open for you to attend, including assemblies, masses, liturgies, sports carnivals, etc. A reminder that if you or your child is unwell please do not enter school grounds. The requirements for close contact isolation have changed. Please follow the advice given through the Compass app.
Please keep up to date on what school events are happening through the newsletter and Compass App. We will do our best to follow our calendar and not make changes this term.
Please note the correspondence on COMPASS App regarding the two extra pupil free days on Monday May 23rd and Friday June 10th.
If you were unable to make contact with your child’s teacher last term please ring or email them for an appointment. 5/6M, 1S & 2YA are having their rescheduled interviews in Week 3. You can make a booking through the Compass App.
Don’t forget that our Kinder Readiness program for 2023 starters begins next Wednesday from 2.10pm in our school library. If you know someone with a child starting Kinder in 2023, regardless of which school they wish to attend, tell them to contact the office for further information.
The annual Book Fair is currently on in the library and will run until Wednesday 4 May (week 2). Students will have the opportunity to make a wish list during library lessons next term. Purchases can be made either in person or online. Students may also purchase books during lunch time. Book fair will be open for parents to browse and purchase books before school in Week One and after school from Monday to Wednesday in Week Two.

The season of Easter is the most important of all liturgical times, which Catholics celebrate as the Lord's resurrection from the dead. His death and resurrection can transform our lives as we endeavour to live lives that know the freedom of goodness – lives that have love for our neighbour, lives that respect all creation, lives that restore hope and mercy.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
This term, we look forward to working with our Year 4 students as they prepare for and make their First Holy Communion. Any students who have made their Reconciliation in the past and missed out on making their First Eucharist please contact the school office or Goulburn Parish.
Our First Eucharist Session, is currently scheduled for Thursday, the 12th of May. Parents have the option to attend either 3.45 pm sessions in the school library or 6.00 pm sessions in St Joseph's school hall. Ms Neely & Mrs Harris are able to provide supervision after school for students who chose the 3.45 pm session.
