Classes of the Week... 1/2HB & 5/6A!
1/2HB are so excited to have their new Interactive Whiteboard to enhance their learning. What perfect timing to also be able to watch Ariarne Titmus storm home to become an Olympic Champion in the Women’s 400m Freestyle. I think they could hear us from Tokyo!
This term, 5/6A are completing the History unit "Gold Fever". We have become classroom scientists, historians, and geologists to learn facts about gold and silver. We had hoped to become miners and traders too, but the weather hasn't been cooperating. Later this week (weather permitting), we will complete a gold hunt on the school playground, then calculate the value of our precious metals using scales and the current commodity trade rate.
