From The Principal
FUTURE ENROLMENTS
We continue to grow in numbers. We now have 262 students enrolled at the school and will have over 270 at the beginning of Term 4. I am predicting that our numbers will be over 280 in 2022. I have requested another class in 2022 to accommodate the numbers. Our classes are close to capacity and any further enrolments will be put on a wait list with Catholic families being given priority. If we continue to have high demand for places I will talk to our head office about further increased staffing.
Thanks again to the families for the positive feedback about our school when you talk to others outside the school community. It is very appreciated.
COVID UPDATE
Many thanks for following the COVID guidelines for school. We hope our community can remain Covid free so we can keep on working and have children attending school regularly. We know that remote learning can be done however face to face learning works more effectively.
INTERACTIVE PANELS
During the term break we installed new interactive panels in all the K-2 classrooms. The boards have a much better resolution and can be written on with the flick of a finger. Money we raise at the school trivia night will help off set the $16000 cost for the boards. We are hoping to fit out other classrooms in 2022.
Thanks to Mr Cady, our groundsman, who spent many hours installing the boards. Thanks to Mr Wigg for sourcing the boards at great prices.
