From the Principal
We are counting the hours and minutes until we have the whole school back on deck this coming Monday 25th October. It has been a long stretch and we will need to spend time getting back into our normal routines. We will still have restrictions to follow. Students will be kept in 3 cohorts or groups - Kinder, 1 & 2, then years 3 & 4 and finally years 5 & 6. These cohorts will be separated to avoid whole school mixing.
Our playground will be divided into different areas for students to play. We have a large playground so students will have plenty of room. The library & school hall will be closed at break times. Windows & doors will be open to create more cross ventilation. We have plenty of sanitiser for students to use on a regular basis. All staff and external providers who work with children will be need to be fully vaccinated by November 9th following NSW Public Health order.
We would love all students to return to school as we are hoping to no longer offer remote learning. If returning to school is an issue please let me know.
I can only offer huge words of thanks to staff, students & families for their patience during this extended period of remote learning. It has been enormously challenging for everyone.
FUNDRAISERS
Special thanks goes to Mrs Harris and all other P&F helpers for volunteering their time to organise and run raffles with our wonderful Trivia Night donations as prizes. They have all done a great job.
Again, thank you to all our wonderful sponsors. The money we have raised is for our new sound system in the hall, which we hope to have up and running next year. Covid has unfortunately delayed the installation and set up of this.
