As part of Stage 2 Science unit this term, we have been exploring life cycles and how some features of living things change throughout their life stages, while other features stay the same.

To explore this further,  students will have the opportunity to watch the incubation of chicken eggs in our classrooms from the very beginning to the very end of the process. We have been lucky enough to have had fertile eggs delivered to us by Miss Atkinson and we feel very excited to watch them grow. 

Students have been asked to make predictions about which egg will hatch first and are recording daily observations to identify features and how they are changing. This has been a very exciting project and we can’t wait to share the news about our chickens with you.
