Our Year 4 students had a great day Tuesday the 7th , working with Gerard and the Trinity Youth Ministry on the First Holy Communion Reflection day. Students examined scripture stories about the Eucharist and what it means to our Religion to take communion. We are so appreciative to Gerard and the students who came to run the day.
Please keep our Year 4 students, preparing to make their First Holy Communion in your thoughts and prayers.
On Tuesday we celebrated Pentecost and the Gifts the Holy Spirit gives us. We thank 5/6 students, teachers and the choir for this Liturgy and helping to remind us what gifts Jesus left for us. On the day of Pentecost the disciples were all together in one place. All of a sudden, Jesus appeared in the room with them. He gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit and sent them into the world to continue his work of healing and forgiving people. We hope that you can continue to share the gifts of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control with others.
