Open Day
It was so wonderful to have so many people here to enjoy this special morning. There was a lovely positive atmosphere around the school.
On Sunday some parents volunteered their time, expertise and machinery to fix the side fence near the garbage pit. Special thanks to the Cosgrove, Keatley & Brushaber families, Steve Cady (our groundsman) & Mr Brown for their efforts. We are getting this area ready to plant a hedge along the fence with a great donation of shrubs from Bunnings. The Smith & Harris families have done work in the break cleaning up the fence line.
Family and Community Mass
Thanks to all who came along to the Family & Community Parish on the weekend. It was a lovely celebration led by some wonderful readers and singers & musicians from our school. Thanks to Mrs Harris, Mr Angus & Ms Jenkins for getting students ready for the Mass.
Archdiocesan Public Speaking Competition
Congratulations to all the students who competed at the Northern Region competition in Braidwood. I hear you all did a wonderful job. Congratulations to Hudson Salmon who was runner-up in the Year 4 Competition. He will be competing via a Zoom link in the Archdiocesan final hosted by Temora on Wednesday 26th October. Good luck Hudson!
NRMA Road Safety Day
This day had important reminders about bike safety and how a helmet can only help if it is worn correctly and adjusted properly for a child’s head. Let’s all, adults & children alike, make an effort to be aware of how to wear our helmets safely.
School Hours
A reminder that school opens & supervision begins at 8.30am. The only students who should be on grounds before 8.30am are those whose bus drops them a little earlier. Students must sit in the basketball court area when they get to school & not be playing. School finishes at 3.20pm & a staff member will stay in the car park area till 3.45pm. Staff stay on bus duty till the last bus arrives.
If you are held up please try & let the office know by 3.30pm.
