Mini Vinnies
This term, Year 1 has been investigating Social Justices and how we can continue to show dignity, respect and compassion to others. During the week, Year 1 met with some of our Mini Vinnies team to ask some questions about how they achieve Social Justice in our school. Some of their questions and answers included;

Yr 1 question: How do you look after God's creation? Amelie: by trying to keep our playground clean and picking up rubbish Hunter: by helping our friends Ella: not harming God's creatures Mick: putting our own rubbish in the bin |
Yr 1 question: How do you show kindness to people? Mick: making sure everyone is included Amelie: asking others to play Hunter: helping people up Ella: smiling and being friendly |
Yr 1 question: What have you done as Mini Vinnies so far? Amelie: We run the pancake breakfast to raise money for Project Compassion Ella: we collect and count the Project Compassion boxes each week Mick: we help people in the playground Hunter: we are starting our Easter raffle tomorrow |

Yr 1 question: What do you need to do to become a Mini Vinnies? Ella: write a letter to Mrs Harris, saying why you care about Social Justices Mick: when you are in Year 6 you can ask Mrs Harris to join |
Yr1 question: Do you think we could have mini Mini Vinnies? Mick: um.. no Amelie: maybe you could help us Hunter: we can all act like Mini Vinnies by doing the right things. |
