2020 Swimming Carnival

Time for students in Yrs 2-5 to start thinking about what events they will enter for the Swimming Carnival next year! Entries will be collected towards the end of this term and ALL swimming abilities are catered for. (non-swimmers, 25m, 50m & 100m events) Please start talking to your child about this event and what they feel comfortable in entering.

NSWPSSA ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to Ella Pearson and the Junior Girls Relay team (Molly, Sophie, Bronte & Ella) on their success at the recent NSWPSSA Athletics Championships. Representing MacKillop the girls competed against students from all over NSW including the Hunter, North West, South Coast, Sydney North, Sydney West, CIS, North Coast, Riverina, Sydney East, Sydney South West, Western, Polding and Barrier areas. Ella finished 16th (39) in the Junior Girls High Jump. The Relay team finished 2nd in their heat, 3rd in their semi-final and 7th in the final. A wonderful achievement!

ACT EQUESTRIAN INTERSCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Shylah Marshall competed in a range of equestrian events at the ACT Interschool Championships and had a very successful carnival. Below are her results:

Showjumping - Participant

Dressage Tests - 2nd & 3rd

Sporting Events - 2nd overall

3 Phase Working Hunter Showcase - 1st (Champion)

Showriding Year 5 (handler, rider, bareback, hunter) - 1st (Champion Overall)
