Drought oh drought, stop it please. We need water we beg you please. We need rain to stop fires and also to not make our fields drier.
By Amber and Jonas (3L)
Remembrance Day is the day when we remember the soldiers who fought for us. We also remember the people that didn’t lose their lives in the war and are still here with us.
By Olivia T and Dakota (3L)
Dear God,
I hope that all the fallen soldiers are in a better place now and I hope they are happier than ever before. I appreciate all our soldiers that go to war to keep us safe and happy. I feel terrible what has happened to all the fallen soldiers and how they were treated.
Amen.

Dear Lord in the Highest,
Please make the rains come down very soon. Please make sure that the farmers and animals on the farms get rain and that they don’t keep dying because of the drought.
By Will and Ryan (3L)
Dear Lord,
Please make sure we get more rain. The farmers and the animals are suffering from the big drought. So please help us Lord.

We need rain desperately. Without rain we have nothing. So please please please turn dust into mud, dirt into grass and bones into animals. Please give us rain.
Amen.

Dear the Saviour One,
Send everyone a poppy to remember those who fought in World War I and II. Canberra’s War Memorial is a very special place for us and people who still serve today are Australia’s heroes. People died and sacrificed themselves to save us such as Jesus did. We ask this in the name of the Lord.
Amen.
By Oscar and Sky (3L)
Dear Lord,
We think of the heroes who died for us. We prayer to keep their souls in heaven so they’re safe. We say thanks to those who made a sacrifice for us so we could live in peace now and into the future.
Amen.

Dear God,
We are very thankful for all you have given us, but farmers are desperate for rain. The farmers are losing all their crops and water.
Please help the dusty fields to turn into beautiful long green grass. Please fix the empty, dry dams into dams full of fresh deep water. Please God make Australia beautiful again.
Amen.
BY Trinity and Libby (4S)
Dear Lord,
Thank you Lord for all the gifts today. We appreciate all the things that you gave us.
Please help all the people in the world who don’t have any water to get some in this awful drought; so that the crops can grow again and kids can jump up and down in muddy puddles.
So please lead the farmers through these tough conditions. If there is rain there will be laughter from everybody.
Amen.
By Ellie and Portia (4S)
Dear God,
Thank you for the things you have done for us already, but we badly need rain. We need it for our animals to drink, to make our beautiful world grow again and so cows and sheep don’t have to be slaughtered into meat.
Help us through this sad drought.
By Heidi and Riley (4S)
Dear Lord,
Thank you for everything you have given us. Thank you for shelter, food and life. Thank you especially for the love you have given us all.
Lord please send us some rain in this difficult drought not just at Goulburn, but Dubbo and other towns in need. Please send us some rain for your children to have puddles to jump and splash in. Please send us some rain for us to have a good life.
By Chevell and Kade (4S)
Dear Lord,
Thank you for family and friends. Thank you for rain but we need a lot more. Rain for our shower and to water the garden.
Please send some rain for the farmers and the big city of Dubbo and surrounding cities.
By Jack and Kobey (4S)
Dear Lord,
Thank you for all the gifts you have given us. We are very thankful, but we still desperately need one thing…rain! Please send down a lot of rain. We need it everywhere.
By Chloe and Jack (4S)
Dear Lord,
Thank you for all the gifts you have already given to us, but we only ask for one more thing…rain! Please Lord send lots we beg you, but it’s not all for us, the farmers need it in this terrible drought. We need it for the crops for our future generations. We need clean water to drink and to get all the grass to grow so that cows get fattened up and so we can stay on this planet together and not starve. I believe that farmers are great people and this is how you could return the favour.
Amen.
By Noah and Nate (4S)
Dear Lord,
Thank you for all the gifts you’ve given us. Please give us some rain so farmers can grow crops for us to eat, to fill the empty dams and water troughs, so animals can drink, to water our gardens and for your beautiful world. We also need rain for your children to drink and wash in, puddles to jump in, for us to swim and play in and for people in Dubbo and other places around the world.
Lord hear our prayer and please send some rain.
Amen.
