Hello, my name is Tory Simmons. I have taken up the new Welfare Officer role at Ss Peter and Paul’s Primary. I am here to provide strategies and opportunities that support the wellbeing of our students and the wider school community. I am available Thursdays and Fridays throughout the school term. Our first creative project is working in small groups to prepare desserts for the local Meals on Wheels. We delivered our first batch of Mars Bar slice to the Meals on Wheels volunteers last week. We have had a call from a lovely elderly lady who recieved a package of the slice and she just wanted to let us know how delicious it was and how much she appreciated the time and effort that the students have put into providing it for her.
