In 5/6A we have been learning about Earth and the solar system. We explored conservation of angular momentum and how this is a process of spinning and contraction. The solar system was formed by conservation of angular momentum, which we replicated in an experiment by creating miniature tornados in a jar.

We use lots of dice, cards, counters, cubes and spend lots of time pushing ourselves into the challenge zone, as we know that's where most of our learning happens.

We love playing math games and we especially love when Mrs Harris sings the 'Math Song'.
