KH Explores The Church with Art!

The students of KH have been creating Churches in the style of author/illustrator Eric Carle. This project has combined many art skills like colour mixing, cutting with scissors and collage design. We investigated stained glass windows, cathedrals, tiny churches, and even gum trees to imagine our pictures before making them. We have been learning names and properties of geometric shapes as well. These will be proudly displayed near the office soon. But is "The Church" just a building? We will be making tiny people next, to answer that question!
